Curriculum / Modules
Module 1: Introduction to UiPath StudioX & Citizen Development
- Explore the StudioX interface, menus, panels, and key controls
- Understand the purpose of StudioX vs Studio for business users
- Review the core functions and activity types available in StudioX
- Learn the citizen developer role and how StudioX supports non-technical users
Module 2: UI Interactions & Recording
- Work with different input and output methods (typing, clicking, reading from screen)
- Choose the right interaction method based on application behavior and stability
- Identify and use UI elements reliably across applications
- Use the recorder to quickly capture and generate automation steps
Module 3: Logic, Loops & Scenarios
- Add decisions and conditions to make your workflows smarter
- Use loops and iterations to repeat actions across lists, tables, or items
- Design simple scenarios to handle different business paths and outcomes
- Combine logic with Excel operations to process structured data
Module 4: Excel, Web & Data Automation
- Perform common Excel automation tasks (read/write cells, tables, ranges)
- Use StudioX activities to work with spreadsheets without formulas or macros
- Perform basic web automation and web scraping for structured information
- Manage key values in the Project Notebook (dates, text, numbers, files, scratchpad)
Module 5: Email & Document Automation (Outlook & Word)
- Automate Outlook operations such as reading, sending, and organizing emails
- Extract and use data from emails and attachments in your workflows
- Automate Word operations to generate or update documents and templates
- Combine Outlook, Word, and Excel automation into end-to-end mini workflows
